I am Ben.

An online business specialist and a creative entrepreneur. I grew up in Assen, in the province of Drenthe.

I started my first internet company, Web and Brand, when I was just 16 — and I never stopped.

My specialty? Spotting online growth opportunities for businesses and turning them into reality through smart digital solutions.

That’s why you’ll find me at my desk for a few hours each day — where for over 15 years I’ve been working side-by-side with ambitious companies, helping them use online business as a powerful tool to grow.

You might even recognize a few of them.

Many of these clients have been with me for over 5 years. Some for more than 10!

The moment the sun peeks through the blinds, I’m out of bed chasing freedom — off on an adventure, into nature, in search of quiet, beautiful and undiscovered places.
Joined by my loyal sidekick… my drone. 😏

There’s something about the power and elegance of a drone, the feeling of flying like a bird — it gives me an instant energy boost.
And the unique footage I get from it? That puts a smile on my face every time.

It’s my hobby gone wild, and I call it: Drone & Chill 🤤.

I share the results of my adventures as inspiring social media content: blogs, photos, but especially short videos ranging from 10 to 90 seconds. In those short clips, I capture unexpectedly beautiful spots “just around the corner.” For years now, I’ve been roaming around Northern Netherlands after work, searching for adventure and relaxation — and along the way, I’ve built up a treasure chest of knowledge about chill and stunning places, which I now share.

With this, I inspire thousands of nature lovers who have a heart for Northern Netherlands. My followers are people who enjoy the peace and relatively undiscovered nature up north, or those who want to visit the northern provinces for exactly that reason. My content gets tens of thousands of views every month! And the potential is far from exhausted.

My adventures haven’t gone unnoticed by various organizations. At the time of writing, I’m exploring collaborations with businesses in local tourism, nature managers, and other related (semi-)government institutions: Province of Drenthe, TT Circuit Assen, Municipality of Midden-Drenthe, Staatsbosbeheer… to be continued.

My adventurous hobby allows me to show who I am and what I’m worth. To me, freedom — and the happiness that comes with it — is one of the most important things in life. I love inspiring entrepreneurs and companies to live a little lighter. The growth I can bring with my digital solutions contributes directly to that sense of freedom.

Of course, you can hire me to create drone photos and videos on commission. I do content creation primarily as part of a strategic collaboration, or if there’s ambition to grow it into one.
